De Woerdenaar

We went here based on reviews we had read. We arrived at 6:30. By 8:30, we still hadn&rsquo;t gotten our main courses. One of our four diners had ordered the five course meal, so the timing was a bit off with that (we should have been counseled about that). We asked a few times about our meal. When food finally came, it was beautiful in every way (although very small portions). We wished that there had been some vegetable side dishes. We were very disappointed with the timing. D

We genoten van een heerlijke lunch met courgettesoep en een lekker broodje en huisgemaakte boter. Een goede maaltijd!  Mijn vrouw startte met een appelsapje en ik een droge witte wijn. Tijdens de maaltijd nam ik appelsap en mijn vrouw rooibos thee. We zaten in serre en het regende heel hard op het dak! Ooit had ik op de markt in Woerden Romero-kaas gekocht. De eigenaar snipperde wat Romero boerenkaas op een schoteltje en liet dit ons proeven. Deze kaas wordt in IJsselstein gemaakt bij de Elisabeth Hoeve van  de familie Verweij. Omdat de kaas zo goed smaakte besloten we via de genoemde kaasboerderij huiswaarts re gaan. Al met al een geslaagde middag in Woerden en IJsselstein.

And we had a good lunch with corghette soup and a good bread and a good meal; and my wife began with a apple juice, and I took a dry white wine; and during the meal I took apple juice and my wife rooibos tea. We were in greenhouse and it rained very hard on the roof! I had once bought Romero cheese in the Worden market. The owner cut some Romero cheese on a shoe and let us try it. This cheese is made in IJsselstein at the Elisabeth Hove of the family Verweij. Because the cheese was so good we decided to go home through the cheese farm, and it was a successful afternoon in Worden and IJsselstein.

Heerlijk 2 gangen lunch van de chef met zeer smakelijke producten en mooi opgemaakte gerechten.  Vriendelijke bediening.

Heerlijke lunch, goede bediening en leuke ambiance. De broodjes waren echt heerlijk, ook voor het oog! Aanrader! Ik kan iedereen in Woerden of omgeving aanraden om hier eens te gaan kijken.

Good lunch, good service and fun ambiance. The breads were really nice, also for the eye! Adviser! I can recommend anyone in Words or surroundings to go look here.

We waren benieuwd naar de Woerdenaar. Goede keus. Aardige gastvrouw. Ruim opgezet restaurant. Niet te uitgebreide kaart, maar genoeg keuze. We zaten eerst in de uitbouw, maar dat was te koud. Binnen was het een stuk aangenamer. Lekker brood met garnalenkroketten gegeten. Heerlijk.

We were interested in the Wordener. Good choice. nice guest. spacious restaurant. Not too extensive map, but enough choice. We were first in the building, but it was too cold. Inside it was a lot pleasant. - That&#39;s a good bread with garlic crochets.
